About/Awards

“Let me tell you a little story,” is a line Tabitha Goodling’s dad would use to begin a topic of importance and sometimes humor. She has continued to desire to share her own story and the stories of others since she could write her name.
Tabitha Goodling lives in Central Pennsylvania and is a 2000 graduate of Penn State University. She is a journalist and writer who has been doing newspaper and magazine work since her college days. She spent five years doing a variety of reporting for a small town daily newspaper but left that position to have her first child in 2005. Shortly after the birth of her daughter she began freelance writing for various publications in that part of the state. She took a brief hiatus in 2007 as she and her husband were expecting triplet girls. During this time she kept an active blog of her experiences and continued blogging well into the girls’ first year. She returned to freelance writing on a regular basis in 2009. Since then she has also written for ministry groups and company websites. She also does public relations for her husband’s music ministry and substitute teaches at her children’s private school. Writing is a passion, and Tabitha pours her heart, wit and sometimes humor into each feature, blog and publication. She is currently working on her first book and has done public speaking about her experiences raising triplets as well as battling depression. Stay tuned as the adventure continues…she would love to tell you a little story.
